Crave Happy is the long version of a feeling I've had since the 90s, standing at the ice cream truck with my aunt and the neighbors. It took a long road, Job Corps, CNA work, art school, freelance, full-time jobs, Uber, and a rebrand in 2021, to finally draw it, print it, and ship it to you.

Entry 01 · The 90s
The Ice Cream Truck Came Around The Corner
I don't remember the exact year, but I remember the sound. Somewhere in the 90s an ice cream truck started rolling through our block. Me, my aunt, and the neighbors next door chased it every single time. That craving, that little burst of joy, is the seed that eventually became Crave Happy.
Entry 02 · Elementary
Neval Thomas Elementary . Washington, DC
One day me and my aunt loaded our bookbags with candy and smuggled it into school. Security caught us at the door and told us we couldn't bring it in class. When we came back for it at break, they had already eaten it. It stung, but the lesson stuck: guard what you love and figure out how to bring it into the world the right way.

Job Corps . Baltimore, Maryland
Before art was ever the plan, I moved to Baltimore for one full year at Job Corps. I finished the program and earned a CNA certificate. I was 23 years old when I graduated, the first real credential with my name on it.
Entry 04 · Back to Rocky Mount, NC
CPA Class + One Year Assisting Elderly People
Back home in the Rocky Mount area I took a CPA class and earned that certification too. I spent one year working in homes assisting elderly people. Hard, honest work, and it taught me that I wanted to build something that carried more of my own voice.

Art Took Over
After the CNA years, I chose art. Enrolled at The Art Institute of Charlotte for graphic design. That is where the path finally started moving in the direction it was always pointed.
Entry 06 · 2021
Crave Happy Becomes Real (The Rebrand)
Drew the White Eagle. Printed the first tee. Opened the Shopify storefront at cravehappyclothing.com. This is the year Crave Happy, as you see it now, actually started. Four years in, still every drop, every character, every package is made by hand.
Entry 07 · 2026 (Now)
Uber Driving + Southern New Hampshire University
Driving Uber during the day and back in school at Southern New Hampshire University finishing a business administration degree so I can run Crave Happy at the scale the universe deserves. The grind is the story.

Degree in Hand. Universe Wide Open.
Business admin degree from Southern New Hampshire University, and a roadmap for licensing my own IP, not borrowing anyone else's.

Every design gets multiple print tests before it goes public. If it fades, cracks, or misses the mark, it does not leave the studio.
How we print
POD · Print Shop · In-Person
We print through a mix of Print-on-Demand partners, a trusted local print shop, and in-person t-shirt printing runs. The method varies by drop, but the standard does not.
How it arrives
Two Kinds Of Package
- Individual products (POD): ship in a clean polybag from a third-party fulfillment partner, currently no notecard or sticker. We are working on adding them; sample photo of a POD tee shows what actually arrives: the shirt on a black table, in a polybag, no extras yet.
- Creative package-design drops: ship in a Crave Happy box with everything inside, notecard, sticker pieces, and a random character passport hard-stock card.
Pre-orders ship on the release date only. Local delivery in Raleigh and Clayton, NC on pre-orders happens on the release date only.
Why It Matters
ORIGINAL IP. NO PERMISSION NEEDED.
Crave Happy is not a logo on a blank tee. It's a slowly expanding universe of original characters, original worlds, and original ink, drawn, printed, and shipped by an indie team that refuses to license someone else's nostalgia.
Every drop is small on purpose. When a chapter closes, it stays closed. The scarcity is the storyline.
The story keeps going. You are already in it.
